Shafaq News/ Independent MP Hadi Al-Salami revealed, on Saturday, a file of financial corruption in the Najaf Municipality Directorate, with more than 33 billion dinars during the last three years.
"The price of a garbage compactor is 85 million dinars, while the cost of repairing machinery is 13 billion and 475 million dinars in 2020," Al-Salami said in a post on his page, which is documented with the blue mark on Facebook, and was followed by Shafaq News Agency.
He added that the costs were "14 billion and 517 million dinars in the year 2021, and in the year 2022 the costs amounted to 14 billion and 517 million dinars."
He indicated that he went to the "Federal Integrity Commission to file a complaint against the current and former director of Najaf municipality due to suspicions of corruption in the disbursement of sums in the Machinery Repair Workshop Division."
