    The Minister of Planning, Muhammad Tamim, confirmed, on Thursday, that there are quite a few projects that have been stalled and lagging behind in various sectors for various reasons that require treatment and resumption of work on them.
    The Ministry of Planning said in a statement, "Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning Muhammad Ali Tamim chaired the meeting of the 45th Diwaniya Committee, which is charged with addressing the problems of lagging hospitals throughout Iraq," noting that "the meeting was attended by the Deputy Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, and the undersecretaries of the Ministries of Planning and Health, And a number of general managers in the two ministries, the Ministry of Finance, Housing and Construction, the Office of Financial Supervision, and a number of specialists.
    He stressed that "the government is heading towards the completion of lagging projects, especially service projects that include hospitals, water, schools and sanitation, according to the priorities set by the government program," noting that "there are quite a few projects that have been stalled and lagging in various sectors for various reasons, that require treatment and resumption." work in it.”
    He stressed, "There have been great efforts made by the Ministry of Planning for a while, to find solutions and remedies for these projects in cooperation with the beneficiaries and the regulatory authorities, and important results have been reached in this aspect."
    He pointed out that "there are 8 hospitals in the capital, Baghdad, which are being completed due to a great need for them, in addition to the presence of other hospitals in Diyala, Anbar, and other provinces that also require completion."
