Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Industry and Minerals revealed a working mechanism for partnership between the public and private sectors, while setting two conditions for providing raw materials.
“The local industry is based on the public and private sectors, both of which are complementary and complementary to the other, and they cannot be divided or separated,” said the ministry’s spokeswoman, Duha al-Jubouri, to the official agency, followed by (Al-Oula News). By following up the reality of the work of these projects by conducting field visits to identify the most important problems and obstacles that the projects suffer from and work to find appropriate solutions.
She added, “The mechanism for providing raw materials for the establishment of any industrial project depends on two factors: First: In the event that raw materials are available locally, they are supplied to the private sector (as the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals own raw materials needed by private sector factories) and the directorate was provided with a list of materials available to Ministry companies and their quantities to prevent their import.
Second: In the event that raw materials are not available, original approvals are granted through the Directorate General of Industrial Development to import the required materials in the number and quantity needed by the industrial project.
She pointed out that "the ministry has a working mechanism for partnership between the public and private sectors and is working to update it according to the available indicators and the current situation in the country."
