    The fourth session of the Higher Commission for Coordination between the governorates not associated with a region decided, on Sunday, to form a specialized committee to consider the possibility of allocating plots of land for political prisoners and families of martyrs.
    Al-Sudani's office stated in a statement that "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani chaired today, Sunday, the fourth session of the Supreme Commission for Coordination between the governorates not linked to a region," adding, "During the session, developments in the general situation in the governorates were discussed, and follow-up on the decisions and recommendations that were implemented that were taken." In previous sessions, in addition to discussing the topics on the agenda and taking decisions regarding them.
    During the session, the Minister of Electricity reviewed "the ministry's plan for the next summer season, its implementation mechanism with the governorates, and the most important challenges, obstacles, and remedies to overcome it, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Minister of Oil and a number of general managers in the Ministry of Oil. The governors presented their proposals and needs in the field of securing electric current and maintenance work. "
    The governors also reviewed "the projects that were completed in their governorates within a month, which were determined according to priorities included in the government's ministerial platform."
    In this regard, the Prime Minister stressed "the need for current and future projects to be in the field of services and touch the needs of citizens, and be visible within a short period."
    During the session, the issue of allocating plots of land for the Martyrs' and Political Prisoners' Institutions to build housing complexes was discussed.
    It was decided to "form a joint committee in this regard from the Supreme Commission for Coordination between the governorates and the Ministries of Agriculture, Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, as well as the Institutions of Martyrs and Political Prisoners."
