The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, discussed in the city of Erbil, today, Wednesday, with the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, the latest developments and developments regarding the general situation in Iraq.
A statement from the regional government, which was received by (Baghdad Today), stated that the two sides "discussed the steps taken to prepare the draft laws of the Federal Supreme Court and oil and gas."
The two sides agreed, according to the statement, "that there is a positive and favorable opportunity to resolve contentious issues between the Kurdistan region and the federal government, based on the provisions of the constitution."
Zidane visited Erbil today to participate in the opening of its international book fair, and on the sidelines he met with the head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Masoud Barzani, and they discussed the role of the judiciary in maintaining stability and community security.
