Yesterday, Monday, the Permanent Committee for Arab Media held its meeting in Kuwait, with the participation of the Iraqi Media Network.
A "conscious" correspondent said: "The agenda included important files, directly related to the Arab countries, with the aim of facing many challenges and developments, and at the forefront of these files is the basic and central issue of the Arabs, which is the Palestinian issue, as during this session all previous decisions related to the Palestinian issue will be emphasized." And work to provide all media support to support it, including the issue of Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and Islamic and Christian sanctities, in addition to commemorating the 11th of May of each year, the day of the martyrdom of the Palestinian journalist (Sherine Abu Aqelah), and deeming it an international day of solidarity with the Palestinian media. He explained, "The session will include a follow-up to the plan for media movement abroad, especially since there were previous decisions of the Council of Arab Ministers of Information in the last three years, and some Arab countries submitted proposals for this purpose."
He pointed out, "One of the items that it is hoped will be discussed at great length is the role of the Arab media and its mission in addressing and confronting the phenomenon of terrorism and extremism that our Arab countries have suffered from in recent years. wave of deviation that targeted it.
He continued, "The meeting is about to discuss the Arab media map for sustainable development 2030."
