    [rtl]Baghdad-Iraq today:

    The Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Qubad Talabani, discussed with the British Consul Rosie Cave, the political developments with Baghdad, and the flight crisis at Sulaymaniyah Airport.

    A statement from Talabani's media office said, "Diplomatically, we are trying to solve the problem of flights at Sulaymaniyah International Airport, and we are optimistic that the efforts will achieve satisfactory results."

    He added, "We discussed with the British Consul General Rosie how the issue of suspending some flights at Sulaymaniyah International Airport and the agreement between the Kurdistan region and Baghdad."

    He stressed that "the two parties must abide by the agreement and implement it as it is, and if no party complies, the agreement will not be implemented, and in this case, the main losers will be the Kurdish citizens."[/rtl]
