Al-Sudani: The imbalance in investment in management and the port of Faw will change the economic map of the region

{Economic: Al Furat News} Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani discussed, today, Sunday, with members of the Parliamentary Investment and Development Committee the most important laws and legislation that contribute to supporting the investment process in the country, as well as the most important practical solutions to problems that hinder the completion of investment projects, with the aim of accessing services Meet the aspirations of citizens.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister confirmed, according to a statement from his office, a copy of which {Euphrates News} received, "his support for everything that pushes the investment process, considering it the broadest and best way to support the Iraqi economy and provide real job opportunities."
He pointed out, "The diagnosis of the imbalance is that it is the responsibility of the administration and not in the construction process itself, and that pioneering investment projects, such as the large port of Faw and the railway line with Turkey, will change the economic map of the region."
The meeting witnessed the discussion of the process of evaluating the heads of investment commissions in Baghdad and the provinces, according to a scientific form prepared for this purpose, in addition to discussing the amendment of Resolution No. 245 due to the presence of paragraphs in it that impede the work of investors.
They discussed the process of rehabilitating and expanding Baghdad International Airport, in addition to the possibility of holding an expanded investment conference, in order to provide all facilities to the local or foreign investor, in implementation of what was included in the government curriculum, which adopted improving the investment environment and presented it among its top priorities.
