[rtl]Baghdad-Iraq today:
Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani received a delegation of Emirati businessmen and investors, while they affirmed through the meeting their great aspiration to invest in Iraq.
A statement by Al-Sudani's office said, "The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia' Al-Sudani, received, in the evening, a delegation of businessmen and investors in the United Arab Emirates, headed by the President of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Abdullah Muhammad Al-Mazrouei.”
Al-Sudanese welcomed, according to the statement, the "members of the guest delegation," stressing that "their visit to the capital, Baghdad, reflects the distinguished relationship between the two brotherly countries, and the desire to open more prospects for joint economic collaboration.
Al-Sudani indicated that "Iraq has ambitious investment opportunities, and it is poised for a qualitative economic leap that would promote sustainable development and fully achieve its goals," referring to "the large investments made in Iraq in the fields of energy and petrochemicals. "
He stressed that "the government has a clear executive programme, and it is serious about confronting bureaucracy and providing all necessary facilities in order to create a successful investment environment."
For its part, the Emirati delegation expressed its sincere thanks for the good reception, and affirmed its great aspiration to invest in Iraq, and the high coordination with government institutions and the Iraqi private sector, in order to build meaningful investment partnerships that serve the two. brotherly countries and the interests of their peoples.[/rtl]
