200 million dollars sales of the Central Bank of Iraq

The Central Bank of Iraq’s sales in its auction yesterday, Sunday, amounted to more than 200 million dollars.
During its auction for buying and selling US dollars, the Central Bank sold 217 million 717 thousand and 136 dollars, which it covered at a base exchange rate of 1305 dinars per dollar for documentary credits and international settlements of electronic cards, and at a price of 1310 dinars per dollar for foreign transfers, and at a price of 1310 dinars per dollar in cash. Most of the dollar sales went to boosting balances abroad in the form of transfers and credits, amounting to 197,757,136 dollars, while the rest, amounting to 19,960,000 dollars, went in the form of cash sales. The number of banks that bought the cash dollar amounted to 12, while the number of banks that met requests to strengthen balances abroad reached 26, while the total number of exchange and mediation companies participating in the auction was 43 companies.
