[rtl]The Chairman of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Atwan Al-Atwani, confirmed today, Tuesday, that all items of the 2023 budget related to contract instructions and the return of canceled contracts are included in the 2024 budget. [/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Atwani said in an interview followed by “Al-Iqtisad News” that “it has become difficult for the House of Representatives, specifically the Parliamentary Finance Committee, to add any item that contains financial obligations,” pointing out that “there is an appeal before the Federal Court that prevents the House of Representatives from legislating any laws that have a financial aspect.” [/rtl]
[rtl]He added, "The operating budget will remain as it is for the years 2023-2024," noting that the "Finance Committee will seek to solve the problem of the categories that were not included in the 2024 budget, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance." [/rtl]
