    Economy News-Baghdad
The Parliamentary Transportation and Communications Committee revealed, on Tuesday, its move regarding the "poor" services provided by the "Fly Baghdad" company to travelers.
The head of the committee, Zahra Al-Bajari, told "Baghdad Today", followed by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "there are many complaints about Fly Baghdad company from travelers, especially because of the company's failure to adhere to appointments, as there is a delay in flights in addition to the failure in the service provided to travelers by This company, which is considered as a national carrier.
And she indicated, "The Parliamentary Transport and Communications Committee has moved on these complaints with the competent authorities in the safety and air transport departments, and we are following this file, in order to oblige Fly Baghdad to provide the best services according to what was agreed upon with it."
Al-Bajari revealed, “The Fly Baghdad company currently has (8) aircraft and wants, during the next few period, to increase the number of its aircraft to (11) aircraft, and it is not the only private company that works as a national carrier, but there is a second company (UR) and this company owns in The current time (4) aircraft.
    Detained passengers
Passengers' complaints continue about the negative cases and repeated accidents recorded by the planes of the airline (Fly Baghdad), the latest of which was the disruption of the gate of one of the company's planes and the suffocation of passengers inside.
And a video clip circulated on social media platforms that "the gate of one of the (Fly Baghdad) planes was broken and did not open after the plane landed, amid the resentment of the passengers and the suffocation of others," according to what the travelers posted.
It is noteworthy that from time to time, complaints are issued by travelers regarding delays in the flights of the "Fly Baghdad" company, in addition to other obstacles they face when traveling, including the anger in which the artist, Atheer Kashkul, was seen losing his temper at Baghdad Airport after problems with the company's flight.
A spokesman for the Civil Aviation Authority, Jihad al-Diwan, considered what happened to the Fly Baghdad plane as a normal occurrence in all airports in the world, but at the same time he acknowledged the company's "problems", revealing that "the formation of an investigative committee to recur these malfunctions and service problems."
Faris al-Jawari, a specialist in the aviation sector, says, "Fly Baghdad has many flight destinations and its marketing suggests that it owns more than 25 aircraft and not 11 as it is in reality, and it has all these problems where when one of its planes breaks down at a specific airport there is no alternative to go to it, to complete The flight, as well as the sober global companies, pointing out that “airline companies must know that the matter is not limited to making money only, but rather a service worthy of the traveler must be provided in the smallest details.”
Tampering and damage to passengers' bags
And it seems that "Fly Baghdad" was not satisfied with this amount of poor services. On June 18, passengers revealed that their bags and luggage had been subjected to "tampering and damage" after their arrival from a flight aboard Fly Baghdad Airlines.
Passengers on board a flight coming from Syria to Iraq on the "Fly Baghdad" lines expressed their surprise upon their arrival that their bags had been opened and others were damaged without explaining the reasons and revealing the person responsible for that.
