    [size=45]The foreign ministers of Iraq, Egypt, and Jordan held a meeting in which they discussed cooperation in several political and economic fields, during which they agreed on the necessity of completing the projects proposed between the three countries, according to what the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced yesterday, Sunday.[/size]
    [size=45]The Ministry said in a statement that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sameh Shoukry, hosted on Saturday the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Safadi, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, Fouad Hussein, at the headquarters of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Egypt to the United Nations. United Nations in New York on the sidelines of the high-level segment of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly.[/size]
    [size=45]The statement added that the foreign ministers of the three countries discussed ways to activate cooperation between them in several economic and political fields, where they agreed on the importance of completing the projects proposed among them, and initiating the proposal of new ideas and projects in the fields of electrical connectivity, renewable energy, communications, trade, industry, transportation, health and pharmaceutical industries. Housing and reconstruction, as well as areas concerned with culture, tourism, youth and sports, as well as areas of security and defense cooperation.[/size]

    [size=45]The statement continued that the foreign ministers of the three countries “discussed many issues, most notably the Palestinian issue as it is the central issue, and in the context of the importance of restoring inalienable Palestinian rights. They also addressed the efforts aimed at finding a solution to the Syrian crisis, especially through the efforts of the Arab Contact Group, and that In a way that achieves the interests of the Syrian people and ends their suffering.” The Egyptian Foreign Ministry concluded its statement by saying that the foreign ministers agreed to continue coordination among themselves to prepare for the upcoming tripartite summit scheduled to be held in Cairo. In June 2021, the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, hosted the last tripartite summit between the three countries.[/size]
