The Ministry of Commerce discussed, today, Wednesday, procedures to accelerate the completion of the ration card automation project.
A statement to the trade media received by Mawazine News said, “The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce for Administrative Affairs, Sattar Al-Jabri, and Economic Affairs, Ghassan Farhan Hamid, chaired a meeting that included directors of public departments in the Departments of Commercial Control, Planning and Follow-up, the Grain Manufacturing Company, and the Information Technology, Supply, and Computer Departments, during which the work mechanism for completing the project was discussed.” Automating the ration card and simplifying procedures.
The statement added, “In implementation of the directives of the Minister of Commerce, Atheer Al-Ghurairi, to resolve the issue of automating the ration card for the rest of Iraq’s governorates, during the meeting, the necessity of completing the procedures for the electronic ration card program was emphasized during the coming period and according to the time limit specified for it in the government program in order to reduce routine and reviews and simplify procedures.” .
