    The Minister of Commerce, Atheer Al-Ghurairy, announced today, Sunday, the launch of the ration card automation project in the holy governorate of Karbala.
    A statement by the ministry, which was received by Al-Maaloumah, stated that, “With the support and supervision of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudanese, and in implementation of the government program and the ministerial curriculum, by applying the poverty alleviation strategy by targeting the deserving segments of the supply system, Minister Atheer Al-Ghurairy announced the start of automating the ration card in the holy governorate of Karbala.” ".
    Al-Ghurairy stressed, “The ration card automation project is the first step to eliminate corruption, reduce time and effort, reduce reviews and prevent manipulation, as well as being a step to preserve public money and the accuracy of the data provided by the system.” .”
    The Minister of Commerce indicated that "the ministry is mobilizing its capabilities and forming an integrated work team headed by us, agents, counselors and general managers to supervise the printing of the electronic card, prepare committees, administrative and logistical matters, infrastructure, and train And to qualify the staff that will carry out data update operations based on the data of the unified card, which will be a complement to the electronic ration card.”
    And he continued, "The automation service will be important to serve citizens in the possibility of knowing the types and quantities of processed materials, in addition to limiting repetition and imaginary cases and stopping all violations that occurred in the numbers of those included in the ration." card.”
    He explained that "the first steps to automate the ration card were in the Al-Ma'amel neighborhood in Al-Sadr City, Baghdad, and Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Governorate, in cooperation with the World Food Organization, followed by the Dohuk Governorate, and it is now in the process of updating citizens' data, and work is underway to complete printing of cards and preparing data in Al-Muthanna Governorate to start updating families' data. Ended / 25 BC
