[rtl]Karbala / NINA / The head of the Local Union of Cooperative Agricultural Societies in Holy Karbala, Jawad Kazem Numan Al-Kuraiti, welcomed the decision of the regular Karbala Governorate Council to prevent fragmentation and preserve agricultural lands, and to support and strengthen the measures taken by the governor and the judicial authority in order to achieve the preservation of the identity of the agricultural governorate.
Al-Kuraiti stated: We call upon the governorate council to serve as a chairman and members to serve the agricultural process in the holy governorate of Karbala, especially the issue of bulldozing and fragmenting green spaces and orchards, which is considered an uncivilized phenomenon that affects agricultural production, especially since our governorate is distinguished by the cultivation of palm trees, citrus fruits, and other trees.
He added: It must be Activating the role of the committees formed in all administrative units within the agricultural divisions spread throughout the districts and districts of the governorate’s Agriculture Directorate to hold accountable those who were negligent in the process of bulldozing orchards in order to convert them into homes and residential plots./End[/rtl]
