A member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, MP Talib al-Yasari, confirmed that the State of Law coalition aspires to return Nouri al-Maliki to the prime ministership again.
The leftist said, in a televised interview followed by Mawazine News, that “Nouri al-Maliki is the best leader who can lead this stage and add to the political process after he has high experience,” pointing out that it is not possible to compare between al-Maliki and the Sudanese because each of them has a different point of view. ".
He added, "The State of Law coalition is a primary supporter of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, stressing that if the State of Law does not support Al-Sudani, it will be the loser, indicating that the entire political process currently needs a personality to pull it out of its reality."
He pointed out that "the Sudanese has several options to enter the next elections and renew the second term by entering the elections with a special bloc and winning a majority, or by reaching a political consensus on granting confidence again."
