[rtl]Baghdad - Iraq Today:
Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and American Anthony Blinken discussed arrangements for the visit of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani to the White House next month.
Hussein said in a tweet on his account on the “X” website (formerly Twitter), “I met in Washington with US Secretary of State Blinken, and we discussed ways to strengthen the partnership between our two countries in the fields of economy, energy , security, and combating terrorism.”
He added, "We also discussed the ongoing arrangements for the Prime Minister's upcoming visit to Washington."
On March 22, the White House announced the date of the visit of Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani to Washington to meet with US President Joe Biden, indicating that the visit will take place in the middle of next April, and will discuss a range of issues, including the development of the US military mission in Iraq.[/rtl]
