Chairman of the Parliamentary Services Committee, Ali Al-Hamidawi, confirmed today, Wednesday, that the Sadr City project has become a reality after it was a dream.
Al-Hamidi said, in an interview with Mawazine News, that “the housing crisis is the reason for the rise in real estate prices in the capital, Baghdad,” pointing out that “the price per meter in the cities of Al-Ghazali and Al-Jawahiri is very high.”
He added, "The experience of the Bismayah housing project is very successful and must be repeated in all Iraqi governorates."
Al-Hamidi pointed out that “governmental and political support is clear from the Sudanese government.”
He pointed out that "the sewerage project on the outskirts of Baghdad has been in place for 13 years, and there are no solutions to this problem."
