The Prime Minister's Advisor for Transport Affairs, Nasser Al-Asadi, announced today, Thursday, the completion of the Baghdad Metro track designs, while confirming that the project will cover all holy places, hospitals and universities.
Al-Asadi said, “The Baghdad Metro project is very large, at a distance of 148 kilometers and will cover 85% of the city of Baghdad, distributed among 64 stations, where there will be coverage of all holy places, hospitals, universities, and tourist and administrative places.”
He added, "The design of the paths has been drawn up," noting that "the project has been offered for investment, and now the investor will put his technical team into the design, implementation, and operation work."
