    He explained the governor, that "the French company Alstom specialized electric trains, which took over the completion of designs, already implemented several similar projects in the Arab world or the Middle East," pointing out that "the implementation of the project will be in phases. First at a distance of 22 km and a half, to transfer 30 thousand passengers per hour, through 14 stations can be increased in the second phase. "
    He said Tamimi, "The design of the project blend between the Islamic and contemporary art where it is hoped to contribute to the elimination of traffic congestion, especially that the train will pass through universities, schools and many areas in the capital."
