    Oil Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi, Tuesday, Baghdad and Erbil agreement on the formation of joint committees to develop necessary to implement the agreements mechanisms and resolve outstanding issues between the province and the center problems, as he emphasized the agreement on the allocation of a percentage of allocations of federal land forces of the Iraqi army to the Peshmerga forces.[/ltr]

" 
    Abdul-Mahdi said that "the parties agreed that the region secured 250 thousand barrels of crude oil a day the Federal Government and are exported 300 thousand barrels of Kirkuk province, passing through fields across the Kurdistan region to Turkey tube." 
    Abdul-Mahdi, and pointed out that "the two sides agreed on the allocation of a percentage of allocations of federal land forces of the Iraqi army to the Peshmerga forces according to population ratio as part of the national defense system."

    He said Barzani, in a press statement following the agreement with the head of the central government Haider al-Abadi to resolve differences, and followed up (range Press), "The meeting went very well and we see a good opportunity in Baghdad during our discussions with the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and new ministers in his government." , adding, "They want to solve the problems with the Kurdistan region in a serious manner."

    And on the allocation of funds to the Peshmerga forces, Barzani pointed out that "Abadi, the price of the role of the Peshmerga and the struggle and agreed to put about a trillion and 200 billion dinars for the Peshmerga forces," noting that the head of the central government, "counting the Peshmerga of the Iraqi defense system and lay the proportion of the defense budget for the Peshmerga." 
    President of the Kurdish delegation negotiating a promise that "these agreements is a good start," but he also said, "but it's not a final set of problems because there must be agreed around, but we appreciate the agreement today, and we want within six months access to good results." 
    Barzani stressed that "this gain is good for all concerned, it has crossed a good stage in the Kurdistan region compared to the previous duration", hoping "to begin the implementation of the agreement in practice soon." 
    In another context, Barzani said, "We have received an advance to provide the Kurdistan region of staff salaries and other Sntzlm advance," expected "a radical solution to the problem of salaries for the month of January next reach." 
    The head of the Kurdistan Regional Government, said that "the desire of al-Abadi in encouraging us to reach an agreement," and expressed his hope to "open a new page of relations between Erbil and Baghdad," stressing at the same time, "but would not accept the tone of the threat which had previously prevailed."     The head of the Kurdistan Regional Government, said that "the desire of al-Abadi in encouraging us to reach an agreement," and expressed his hope to "open a new page of relations between Erbil and Baghdad," stressing at the same time, "but would not accept the tone of the threat which had previously prevailed."

    Sounds like Abadi is doing actual negotiations... not just saying here it is... take it or leave  it... I have high hopes for this guy!
