Office announced Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, Sunday, that the latter received the credentials of the European Union's ambassador to Iraq, Patrick Saemont papers, while al-Jaafari expressed the ministry's full support for the success of an important ambassador in Baghdad.

"
The bureau said that "it was stressed the importance of activating the strategic agreement, and memorandums of understanding signed between Iraq and the European Union and the exchange of experiences, and support Iraq in the political, security, economic and service fields."
He said the bureau "Foreign Jaafari expressed readiness to provide all the support for the success of the task of the ambassador, and the staff of the diplomatic mission in Baghdad."
The al-Jaafari called, in (June 3, 2015), the European Union countries to sign historic position and increase aid for Iraq, stressing that they did not reach an adequate level as a result of the growing need, as pointed out that the world began to feel the responsibility towards the suffering of Iraq.
