Office announced Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, the latter received the credentials of the European Union's ambassador to Iraq, Patrick Saemont papers, and expressed his support for the success of the diplomatic mission of the European mission in Baghdad.
A statement from the Office of al-Jaafari, the two sides discussed during the meeting, the conduct of relations between Iraq and the European Union, and ways to increase the size of the support, and assistance to Iraq in its war against al Daash.
The statement added, was to emphasize the importance of activating the strategic agreement, and memorandums of understanding signed between Iraq and the European Union and the exchange of experiences, and support Iraq in the political, security, economic and service fields.
