    The head of the economic and investment commission parliamentary Jawad al-Bolani, said Thursday that the financial and monetary situation in Iraq is “controlled”, as called for serious cooperation to overcome the current stage.
    Bolani said in a statement received “direction Press” a copy of it, that “After reviewing the actions and measures taken by the Central Bank of Iraq in light of the Commission’s visit to the bank, the financial and monetary situation of Iraq is controlled.”
    Bolani said, “We found during our visit plans and initiatives of the task of the central bank to achieve its objectives, including the development goals,” calling for “a serious and constructive cooperation to overcome the current stage.”
    The religious authority called in (January 29, 2016) the Iraqi government to engage the assistance of local and international to develop a “contingency plan” in order to cope with the financial crisis, as demanded by taking austerity measures against “unnecessary expenses” for the ministries and not the general public right.
