{Baghdad: Euphrates News} Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture Furat al-Tamimi said on Thursday that attempts to revive the sector continues, adding that the obstacles and problems faced by the sector is still great.
He said al-Tamimi told {Euphrates News} Today, that "the recovery of the agricultural sector continuously; but the obstacles and problems experienced by the still large," adding, "We need a concerted effort to revitalize agriculture and development to reach self-sufficiency in some crops phase" . he added that "the diversity of agricultural crops by provinces, there are provinces producing pills and there are provinces famous for its vegetables and fruits requires that there is coordination between the federal and local governments and the Kurdistan region on the grounds that he is still the border crossings is a disciplined and tightly controlled on the import of vegetables and fruit and agricultural products." He noted "the agricultural sector needed a high coordination between government departments sectoral all and the development of the agricultural sector agricultural research and guidance for farmers and the Iraqi farmer." It is said that there are a beneficiary is trying to stop the government diversify the economy, and adopt all the oil in the evaluation of the economic reality points proved its failure in Iraq ; due to lower world oil prices. the economic expert on behalf of Jamil Antoine called on the Iraqi government to use economic experts adults who are in the new Iraqi state during the current year {2016} to override any Manmlh.anthy economic crisis 1
