    The Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Mohammed Shia 'Al Sudani said the ministry carried out in collaboration with the World Bank strategic program runs for five years until 2019 and represents a road map of the ministry in the next stage to get into an integrated social protection of social safety nets and social security and labor market policies system.
    The Sudanese during a workshop held by the Ministry with the World Bank to discuss the first phase of support for the social protection program in Iraq in Baghdad, said the protection system includes new mechanisms and systems for effective programs to build social researchers abilities and An_ia unified social protection fund and put invest his money mechanisms.
    He added that the ministry has cut off an important way in purification and organizing social protection network of squatters them and is eligible in light of the strict implementation of the provisions of Law No. (11) for the year 2014, which represents a quantum leap in the field of social security for the poor to secure and ensure a decent life for citizens living below the poverty line, pointing that the ministry was able to recover more than 20 billion dinars from the squatters on social protection.
    He said the Sudanese that the ministry has worked to filter beneficiaries data from the subsidy of social protection to keep out non-eligible income for the program base has managed social protections body scan approximately one million families and individuals registered with it will be after the exclusion of non-eligible based on the poverty line standards.
    He pointed out that according to the road map that has been agreed upon with the Bank, the Department of pension and social security is a responsibility to work to build departments with outstanding performance and the adoption of innovative programs to adopt the rules of information and data on the labor force in the country to be a reliable source for the advancement of the functions of social security and the development of infrastructure labor market information.
    The Minister said the workshop held by the Ministry with the World Bank in the presence of international organizations and the Ministry of Planning and international partners and the public pension body come to review the road map approved by the ministry
    He said that despite the financial crisis and economic conditions experienced by the country as a result of lower oil prices, the government has been allocating funds for the program of social protection and reached the program allocations to a trillion and 900 billion dinars identified disbursed to families which are below the poverty line mechanism.
    For his part, representative of the World Bank adviser Ramzi Naaman said the workshop come to discuss with the social partners, government and non-government agencies to cooperate in the implementation of the social protection system in Iraq, which runs from 2015 until 2019 roadmap, pointing out that the bank's work with the ministry to develop programs to improve level departments and locations in order to reach an optimal implementation of this system, which will have a positive impact on other sectors.
