‘You’ve Gotta Stop!’: Sean Hannity Goes Off on Cruz for His Comments About the Delegate System

Things seemed to get a little heated Tuesday when conservative radio host Sean Hannity asked Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz to explain the “confusing” delegate system, something the Texas senator said “only the hardcore Donald Trump supporters” care about.
But when Cruz dismissed the issue as nothing more than the Trump campaign “whining,” Hannity, who has been sympathetic toward Trump, went off.
“Senator, why do you do this? Every single time — no, you gotta stop!” he charged. “Every time I have you on the air and I ask you a legitimate question, you try to throw this in my face, I’m getting sick of it!”
Cruz quickly shot back: “Sean, can I answer your last question without being interrupted?”
Cruz then explained the delegate system and insisted that the “noise and complaining and whining” about the process is only coming from Trump and his supporters.
“I cannot help that the Donald Trump campaign is incapable of running a lemonade stand,” Cruz told Hannity. “Elections are won by voters and grassroots activists going up and voting for the candidate they support, and we are winning election, after election, election and nobody — as I’m traveling the country — nobody is asking me [about the delegate system] expect for the Trumpsters and people repeating it.”
“If you lose, don’t cry about it, go back and learn how to win an election,” he added.
But the conservative host was not satisfied with his answer, telling Cruz that it is a serious issue that people are concerned about and “it’s a simple question, it’s not a Trump question.”
“Senator, I don’t know why you’re mad,” Hannity later said. “I’m trying to understand it — I’m literally having a hard time understanding why you’re getting angry at this.”
However, Cruz said he wasn’t mad, but insisted that Trump was “distracting from the real issues” by focusing on the delegate system, which he says is “rigged.
