{Baghdad: Euphrates News} expressed Japan's ambassador to Iraq, during a meeting with Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jubouri, expressed his country's determination launch aid worth six billion dollars, and allocate the bulk of them in support of Iraq.

The statement added , "The meeting discussed the latest preparations for thesummit of the seven leading industrialized nations to be hosted Tokyo on Thursday, where the President of the House of Representatives stressed that responsibility makes it imperative for the international community to provide more support and assistance to Iraq in the light of the circumstances and the challenges that Iraq isgoing through. "
