Twilight News / A delegation of the Federation of Iraqi businessmen headed Basra Sabih Habib pleased Hashemi, on Saturday, with the Cairo Chamber of the formation of a joint business council to develop trade and investment relations between the two countries.
According to the report by the Cairo Chamber of the two sides discussed the establishment of a joint business council to be episode economic link between the two sides and discuss ways to develop commercial, industrial and investment relations and increasing trade, which the two sides agreed to increase the historical relations between Egypt and Iraq.
The Vice-President Ali Shukri Cairo Chamber of Iraqi investors need to take advantage of the investment opportunities available in the Egyptian market and currently hold mutual partnerships between the parties, supporting the idea of establishing a joint business council to be the nucleus and the main base of support relationships truly result in the development of the two economies.
He pointed to the long history of the Cairo Chamber and its place among the world rooms, one of the largest rooms in the Middle East and there is a diversity of sectors represented by where he belongs to more than half a million dealer and manufacturer and service performer.
He hoped that this visit will be to consolidate the concepts of trade relations between the communities and businesses in Egypt and their counterparts in Iraq and participating exhibitions and trade and economic conferences to study projects that help the development of relations between the two countries and increase bilateral trade, calling for the establishment of a joint trade and economic entities between businessmen in Egypt and Iraq, which would contribute to increase economic integration between the two countries.
He revealed Shoukry Iraqi delegation that will form a delegation to visit Basra after the end of Eid al-Adha holiday to promote investment opportunities in the Egyptian market and put all the data in front of businessmen in Iraq in terms of investment affairs in Egypt and facilities carried out by the government to attract investors and investment opportunities that could benefit including the Iraqi side.
They also will discuss increasing trade exchange between the two countries, which currently do not commensurate with the historical relations between them, pointing out that the Chamber of Commerce in Cairo seeks to strengthen and develop economic relations to activate the export, import and take advantage of investment opportunities and to find ways of joint cooperation to serve the business in Egypt, Iraq and essential that both governments and business organizations working to facilitate and pave the way for business and remove the obstacles they face, and a business in order to promote the completion of the way peoples lives for a better standard of living.
Deputy Chairman of the Chamber and said that Egypt is now in a new phase of economic growth, through the establishment and opening of the new Suez Canal project and many of the economic and development projects attached to it.
For his part, Sabih Habib al-Hashemi said, pleased that this visit aimed to emphasize the historical relations between the two countries and support joint investments, especially that there is acceptance of the Iraqi Egyptian products in the market currently.
The head of the Iraqi delegation that there are investment opportunities in Iraq, calling on Egyptian companies to invest them and seize the investment opportunities available in the current period, stressing the need for the formation of a joint business council of the most important economic institutions in the two countries to strengthen mutual economic relations and increasing trade volume between the two sides with the next phase.
