    Announced for the Health and Environment Committee in the House of Representatives, intent legislation Health Insurance Law after the completion of discussion currently reading in Parliament, he pointed out that the law will cover about 10 million Iraqis, while confirming that the law will provide service in the curative and preventive aspects of thecitizens. 
    The head of the health committee and parliamentary environment Koutaiba Jubouri in an interview (long -Presse) that " the health insurance law exists in the Shura Council of State and we we will this law to our committee to complete the discussion , " noting that " the law will include therapeutic and preventive aspects of Iraqi citizens against the health card like all countries to be a citizen believer on his health . " . 
    He said al - Jubouri, the "health card which will be issued will include the approximately eight to ten million Iraqis , " stressing " the inclusion of employees and retirees covered by social protection network", expressing at the same time, he hoped to "complete the legislation during the current session of Parliament." 
    the Ministry of Iraqi Health, acknowledged, earlier, there were problems facing the health system in thecountry, while confirming that it needs to change and the enactment of laws keep pace with scientific developments. 
    the World Health Organization ( WHO ) promised in June 2013 that the Iraqi Ministry of Health , "lack" ofmedical expertise and leadership skills which make it "wasted a lot of money without any benefit" or "do not know how to spend?" And called for the need to keep the "influential policy" from the ministry and replace them with doctors and specialists in health subjects.
