{International: Euphrates News} Moscow confirmed that the foreign ministers Sergei Lavrov and US John Kerry conducted yesterday a phone call on Syria, revealed that the American minister who asked not to announce this call.
It is interesting that the telephone conversation between the two ministers took place against the backdrop of Washington 's threats to suspend its cooperation with Russia on Syria soon after the escalation of the situation on the ground in Aleppo ,Syria.
In response to recent statements by US counterpart John Kirby, Maria Zakharova ,spokeswoman expressed Foreign Ministry amazed by announcing the phone call which took place on Thursday between Kerry and Lavrov.
Russian diplomacy said in a press statement today that "we were asked uS Secretary of State not to announce this call. and what happened after the hour? Kirby took to the journalists and talked about this call."
Zakharova confirmed that this call, such as the overwhelming majority of other calls between the two ministers, took the initiative of the American side.
