The text of the Law on the Protection of doctors

House of Representatives today voted to ratify the Law on the Protection of doctors for the purpose of protecting them from attacks and tribal claims and illegal, and the agency received all of Iraq [where] a copy of the law, was read:
[ltr]Based on what passed the House of Representatives and approved by the President of the Republic and based on the provisions of item [First] of Article [61] and item [III] of Article [73] of the Constitution, issued the following law:[/ltr]


[ltr]Law[/ltr]


[ltr]Protect doctors[/ltr]


[ltr]Article 1 - first - protect doctors from attacks and tribal claims and extortion from the medical consequences of their actions.[/ltr]
[ltr]Second encourage doctors immigrants to return home.[/ltr]


[ltr]Article 2, the provisions of this law shall apply to doctors working in government health institutions and private clinics and non-governmental organizations.[/ltr]


[ltr]Article 3 shall not be arrested Aotoqev doctor complaint against him for professional medical reasons only after an investigation by a professional specialized ministerial committee.[/ltr]


[ltr]Article 4 The Ministry of Interior doctor vacation pregnancy and personal possession of a weapon [pistol] in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Medical Association.[/ltr]


[ltr]Article 5 shall be punished by imprisonment for not less than [3] three years and a fine of not less than ten million dinars each of the tribal claim or claims against the illegal doctor about the results of his medical work.[/ltr]


[ltr]Article 6 Any person who violates the doctor in the course of the exercise of his profession due to be performed or the penalty prescribed for those who abuse the employee while performing his job or because of it.[/ltr]


[ltr]Article 7 The Ministry of Health in coordination with the doctors union determine preview wages patient in private clinics and non-governmental institutions for doctors within a period of six months from the date of entry into force and have reconsidered depending on economic conditions change.[/ltr]


[ltr]Article 8 The Ministry of the Interior in coordination with the Ministry of Health to open police stations dedicated to the protection of workers in health institutions that require special protection as its preparation of the reviewers or the area where the conditions.[/ltr]


[ltr]Article 9 - The Ministry of Health is committed to treating Iraqi doctor Group and index in the institutions of the Ministry of Health treatment at their own expense within or outside Iraq, in the case of illness according to the instructions and regulations in force in the Ministry of Health.[/ltr]


[ltr]Article - 10 - First - on the Ministry of Health and judicial follow-up of the complaint against the aggressor to the doctor during the performance of official duty in government institutions. Secondly - the Doctors' Syndicate judicial follow up the complaint of assault on a doctor during the performance of professional duty in non-governmental health institutions.[/ltr]


[ltr]Article - 11 - may not send a committee or regulatory inspection or verification by the Center for the ministry or its departments or health departments in the provinces to a health institution governmental or non-governmental organizations to assess and investigate the issues of the medical profession, but headed by a doctor.[/ltr]


[ltr]Article 12 The Minister of Health shall issue instructions to facilitate the implementation of the provisions of this law.[/ltr]


[ltr]Article 13 of this law shall be from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.[/ltr]


[ltr]The reasons:[/ltr]


[ltr]For the purpose of protecting doctors from attacks and tribal claims and illegal for the results of their work and encourage doctors migrants outside Iraq to return to the homeland and give them privileges to ensure their return. Ended[/ltr]
