"




Tamimi added that "the House of Representatives preceded previous sessions that the law on the protection of doctors No. 26 of 2013 and there were calls for the previous session to amend the law and the tightening of sanctions on the aggressors on medical staff, but it was not achieved for the conditions in a timely manner," pointing to "the importance of spreading a culture of respect Especially professional doctors and non-aggression against them. " 

Tamimi stressed on the importance of activating the law to protect doctors and deter those who attack these cadres, with the need to amend the law and tighten the penalties in a way that represents a deterrent to the aggressors against those cadres. 

The parliamentary Health Committee in the previous parliament announced on Wednesday (August 2, 2017), its intention to make amendments to the law to protect doctors to include additional penalties, while the then Prime Minister Haider Abadi application of the law.
