Said Executive Director of the National Gas Company of Iran Hamid Reza Iraq, on Monday, the existence of negotiations, "serious" to export gas to Kuwait, with no identification scrolling mechanism until now, while the agency reported an Iranian official that Kuwait "sensitivity" of the D pipeline across Iraqi territory.
The news agency quoted the "Knight" for Iraqis as saying, "The sale of gas to Kuwait continuous negotiations, and the two sides are considering several ways to pass gas and Arjuhan conclude a bilateral agreement in this regard."
He said Iraqis: "There are two options for the supply of Iranian gas to Kuwait, the first by land and extended tube branch of the pipeline president planned and allocated to pass the Iranian gas to the province of Basra, Iraq, and that seems to be more worthy of the fastest through the pipeline branch distance of 35 km to Kuwait.
He continued, "The second track, is extended offshore pipeline from the port of Bandar periwinkle (southern Iran) to Kuwait through the Gulf."
According to the agency, "Iran is currently working to set up a pipeline to export gas to Basra, and the addition of a sub-pipeline 35 kilometers long, given the possibility of supplying gas to Kuwait by the politically sensitive process of laying the pipeline across the Iraqi territory."
