Announced that US Secretary of Defense James Metis, on Monday, the US military presence in Iraq does not aim to seize the oil, before arriving in Baghdad, made an unannounced visit.
The Metis told reporters accompanying him on his visit: "We in Iraq is not the aim of seizing oil for anyone," he said. "All of us in America are generally always paid for the gas, oil, and I am convinced that we will continue to do so in the future."
The "Reuters" that the US minister stayed away so by US President Donald Trump's remarks in this regard.
Metis and arrived, on Monday, to Baghdad this morning for a visit during which he is expected to discuss the latest developments in the war on organizing Daesh.
