Warning of drowning Iraqi border outlets, Commission

Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Iraqi Parliamentary Agriculture and Water Commission warned that some
of Iraqi border outlets with Syria will be drowned if the Syrian Euphrates Dam collapses.
The Commission pointed out that Iraqi Hadeetha Dam will prevent the drowning other areas inside the country, as reported by its chairman Shrouq al-Abayachi.
Se expressed Iraqi readiness to assist the Syrian government to rehabilitate Tabaqa dam "if Damascus requested".
Syrian Human Rights Observatory announced that the Tabaqa Dam's operations were stopped for unknown reasons, but warned against its collapse due to the control of Da'ish (ISIS) on the area.
On the other side, Anbar provincial sources minimized the dangers of the flow of water on the province through diverting the coming waters to other valleys in the area.
