Iraq and Saudi Arabia are preparing for the opening of border crossings implementers passengers and cargo to transport
The General Directorate of border ports , the Ministry of Interior, on Tuesday, for the termination of all the necessary preparations for the opening of the crossings implementers passengers and cargo to transport and trade exchange between Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
The director of the department , Major General Sami Abdul - Hussein said the Sudanese 'Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Alajabirabidy during his recent visit to Iraq, Saudi Arabia is ready to open new outlets for the transport of goods and passengers between them and Iraq. "
He added that ' the Directorate and in response to the directives of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers has formed a committee headed by general border ports director and membership of the Director General of the General Administration of Customs representatives from the Ministry of Finance and Director General of the Land Transport representatives from the Ministry of Transport, its mission complete the procedures relating to the creation of infrastructure and other works implementers who have been selected to be a point a starting point for the resumption of trade operations between the two countries'.
Sudanese pointed to On'madarah locations within the Arar port and port Baraachit chose in the province of Muthanna ', stressing that the Directorate of pending orders that will be issued by the Council of Ministers to open these ports after they have completed all preparations related to that.'
