The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said on Thursday morning, said a huge explosion hit the area surrounding the Damascus International Airport, amid reports that Israeli raids targeted "military squadrons."
The cause of the explosion at dawn Thursday in a fire broke out at the site, as showed footage published by activists.
He noted the observatory, which is based in its reports on a wide network of activists that "the cause of the explosion is unclear."
The Russian agency Sputnik has said that the explosions caused by 5 raids by Israeli aircraft "military squadron" within the Damascus airport.
