[rtl]Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tariq Al-Mulla said his country's production of natural gas would rise to 6.1 billion cubic feet per day by mid-2018.[/rtl]
[rtl]Mulla said Tuesday that Egypt's production of natural gas will increase by one billion cubic feet per day, after the start of production from the fields of noon and Atoll (north).[/rtl]
[rtl]Egypt's natural gas production rose from 3.8 billion cubic feet per day in 2016 to 5.1 billion at present, the minister said.[/rtl]
[rtl]"The increase came from the fields of Nawras and northern Alexandria (north), in addition to a number of other projects."[/rtl]
[rtl]Egypt aspires to accelerate production from its newly discovered gas fields and aims to stop imports and achieve self-sufficiency by 2019.[/rtl]
