[rtl]The commander of the security forces in Gaza, Maj. Gen. Tawfiq Abu Naim, survived a failed assassination attempt on his car in the central governorate of the Gaza Strip.[/rtl]
[rtl]The spokesman of the Ministry of Interior and National Security in the Gaza Strip Iyad al-Bazm in a press statement on Saturday, "Major General Tawfiq Abu Naim, Director General of the Internal Security Forces, survived a failed assassination attempt after his car was bombed in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza City, He is okay and he is being treated at the hospital. "[/rtl]
[rtl]Al-Bazm confirmed that "the security services immediately began their investigations to find out the circumstances of the incident and to reach the perpetrators."[/rtl]
[rtl]According to Palestinian sources, the director of the internal security forces in Gaza on Friday afternoon was subjected to an assassination attempt by unknown persons after he left the Abu al-Husayn mosque in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.[/rtl]
