    Announced the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives, on Saturday, for the allocation of $ 350 billion dinars within the budget year 2013 for the construction of the project (housing for the poor) which will be implemented and the Ministry of Construction and Housing, and showed that the mechanism for determining the beneficiaries of the poor will be according to the statistics of the Ministry of Planning and work.

    A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Ibrahim al-Mutlaq, in an interview to the (long-Presse), "The draft housing for the poor was passed last year as paragraph within the budget year 2012 but it did not allocate him sums of money last year," noting that "this year allocated the Finance Committee within the budget of the year 2013 the amount of 350 billion dinars for the support and implementation of the project. "

    Mutlaq between that "the implementation of the project and will adopt the mechanism for distributing housing units is the Ministry of Construction and Housing," explaining that "the distribution mechanism will depend statistics of the Ministry of Planning and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs to determine the number of poor people covered by the law social nationals."

    The Ministry of Construction and Housing announced, (27 January 2013), that its Housing Fund Mall 31 thousand housing units in Baghdad and the provinces, indicating that the value of the loan so close to 516 billion dinars.

    Also called on the Ministry of Construction and Housing, (7 January 2013 present), the provinces to provide the land needed to build housing and low cost distributed free to qualified categories, and confirmed it has received international support to support the economic housing project.

    The cabinet announced Iraqi during 2007 for the formation of a higher committee to draft the National Housing chaired by the Minister of Construction and Housing and organic agents of the Minister of Finance, Planning and Municipalities and Public Works and the Under-secretariat of Baghdad, in order to contain the housing crisis worsening in Iraq, the administration of housing units built perpendicular to distribute to middle-income and without average.

    It is noteworthy that Iraq suffers severe housing crisis due to the increasing number of population, compared with the number of residential complexes, in addition to the inability of citizens with limited income for building its own residential unit, due to the high cost of land and construction materials.

    Wonder why they didn't allocate sums last year! What being homeless last year is not good enough?
