(Baghdad: Al Furat News) Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi received a phone call from US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson Monday evening.
"Tilerson offered condolences to the Iraqi people and people for the criminal bombing targeting citizens in the airfield in Baghdad," the statement said. "The United States and the international community support Iraq in strengthening security."
Tillerson also stressed that the United States continues to support Iraq in its efforts to restore stability and attract investment, reconstruction and construction and promote economic reform, according to the statement
Tillerson pointed out that "the whole world looks admiringly to Iraq, which won the gangs and called the terrorist led by Abadi," noting that " American confidence in the ability of Iraqis to eliminate terrorism once and for all. "
