Assad tells Putin he will hit Israeli Ben Gurion airport[/size]

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad told his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin that he would hit Ben Gurion airport if Israel attacked Syrian territory.
Assad said in response to Israel's recent raid on Damascus airport that he had telephoned President Putin, stressing that "Syria's dignity is above all; if Israeli planes once again bombard the Syrian capital, I will bomb the Israeli international airport with two Scud missiles."
For his part, the Russian president said during a telephone conversation with his Syrian counterpart, that he will continue with Israel.
Israel has repeatedly bombed areas in Syria, most recently in the Qatifah area of the Syrian countryside.
