Shafaq News / The Authority of the border crossings, on Wednesday, the Commission to study the feasibility of opening border crossings to visit the province of Kurdistan.
The committee will be chaired by Shaker al-Jubouri, Director General of Operations and Planning in the Ports Authority and the membership of each of the representatives of the departments working at the border posts of the Ministries of Finance, Planning, Transport, Foreign Affairs, Health, Agriculture, Communications and Security Services.
She added that the visit of the committee aims at reviewing the mechanism of work, laws, regulations and legislation applicable to export and import consignments as well as inspecting the infrastructure in the port. The committee will present its detailed report on the economic feasibility of this port in the short term.
