Pyongyang: The mouth of Trump's deputy made ignorant and stupid remarks

A senior North Korean official, US Vice President Mike Bens, has been criticized for making remarks about negotiations to disarm Pyongyang, calling it "ignorant and stupid".
"I can not hide my surprise at ignorant and stupid remarks made by the vice president of the United States," North Korean Deputy Foreign Minister Choi Sun-hui said in a statement.
She described Pines' remarks as "brazen," asserting that Pyongyang will not be forced to sit at the negotiating table by threats from Washington leaders.
"We will not plead with the United States for dialogue or get tired of convincing them if they refuse to sit with us," she said.
"If the United States abuses our good intentions and holds on to illegal and shameful behavior, I will propose to our top leadership to reconsider the summit between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the United States," she said.
In an interview with Fox television, Bens warned North Korea's Kim Jong-un to dodge Washington and manipulate it ahead of a summit between the leaders of the two countries next month in Singapore, saying it would be a "big mistake."
He hinted that North Korea might end up in the Libyan scenario "if Kim Jong-un does not conclude a deal" on his nuclear program.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said the United States had no intention of implementing the "Libyan scenario" in North Korea, saying that "the Libyan model was a very different model, we destroyed this country."
Trump has vowed to provide strong assurances to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un if an agreement is reached on ending his nuclear program."He will stay there and his country will be governed and his country will be very rich," he said.
