Saudi Arabia announces construction of regional airport in Yemen

The Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Mohammed Al Jaber, responsible for the reconstruction file in Yemen, announced the launch of the reconstruction phase program in the governorate of Marib in northeastern Yemen, starting with the implementation of a regional airport.
"A program office will be opened in Marib to oversee the reconstruction process, which will cover all areas and different directorates, including roads, health, education, environment, human development and a number of priority areas," the Saudi ambassador said on Thursday.
The Saudi ambassador called on citizens in the areas, which are still under the control of the Huthis, to keep their children from exploiting the group, stressing that reconstruction will reach everywhere in Yemen.
He explained that "his visit to the province of Marib comes under the guidance of King Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman , to begin reconstruction in Yemen, which began in Aden, then Socotra and now Marib, and will continue until the rest of the liberated provinces."
"The launch of the reconstruction program in Yemen comes as a third phase of the intervention of the Arab Alliance to support the legitimacy in Yemen, which was in its first stage to stand in front of the Iranian tide and the Houthi coup, and the second phase was humanitarian and relief work and this third phase, Reconstruction ".
