    The Israeli army has been aware of the transfer of missiles from Iran to Iraq for weeks.
    A senior Israeli officer said the Israeli army had closely followed the operation and estimates within the Israeli army that the transfer of Iranian missiles to Iraq was a response to Israeli attacks on Iranian bases in Syria.
    He added that Israel's strong and strong activity against the concentration of Iranian forces in Syria and Washington's opposition to that, prompted Tehran to transfer some missiles to Iraq.

    The State Department denied on Sunday the report published by Reuters on Iraqi groups receiving ballistic missiles from Iran, asserting Iraq's commitment not to use its territory as the headquarters or conduit for any operations targeting the security of any other country.
    "It is surprised by the allegations made by a press report that Iraqi armed groups have received ballistic missiles from Iran," the ministry said in a statement.
    The statement added that "Iraq is not obliged to respond to press reports do not have tangible evidence of its claim and allegations," asserting that "all institutions of the Iraqi state is bound and committed to Article VII of the Constitution, which provides that the use of Iraqi territory or the headquarters of any operations aimed at the security of any Another country ". Ending / 25
