Shafaq News / Digital Media Center revealed that the company Facebook delete dozens of pages of the Iraqi political counterfeit, which characterize the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister and Speaker of the House of Representatives, during the past weeks.
The Center's team confirmed in a statement to the twilight news that Facebook deleted about 18 fake pages impersonating the President of the Republic Barham Saleh, 31 pages impersonating the name of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, and removed 30 fake pages in the name of Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohamed Halbusi, as well as other fake pages claiming Its return to some Iraqi politicians.
The Center pointed out that Facebook is continuing to remove the false political accounts that spread lies and misleading information on the Facebook platform, which definitely affects the user experience with this platform, as well as the impact on public opinion through information is not true.
