[size=18]State lawmaker Alia Nassif said on Tuesday that some UN inspectors are "promoting" that the United Nations refuses to cancel their offices, usually a "failed attempt to cling to their posts."

Nassif, in a statement received by Alsumaria News, said that some are promoting that the United Nations refuses to cancel the offices of general inspectors, usually a failed attempt by some inspectors to cling to their posts and offices that have become a link to corruption.

She added that the state of confusion and panic felt by some corrupt made them make false statements that the United Nations Office in Baghdad refuses to cancel the offices of the general inspectors, pointing out that the United Nations Office does not interfere in the legislation and the adoption of laws or repeal and can not be involved in such matters, and this thing we confirmed after They were inquired through informal contacts.

She explained that there is a treaty or agreement with the United Nations includes paragraphs on anti-corruption bodies, but it does not contain any clause prevents the government and the legislature from abolishing or the creation of any regulatory body.

Nassif pointed out that the attempt to involve the United Nations in the case is a non-profit paper, and some inspectors may try in the coming days to involve the authority and speak on its tongue that it prohibits the cancellation of their offices, adding, who fabricates statements by the United Nations is ready to fabricate fatwas in the name of the reference.

There was a team to assess the work of these offices in 2015, and a group of disadvantages were diagnosed in their work, pointing out to inform former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi about them.

Nassif stressed that the House of Representatives, as the authority of the people will soon vote on the abolition of the offices of general inspectors to cancel a cycle of corruption and disappear from all ministries and cafes where bargains to pass corrupt deals and receive commissions.
